Skilled Migrant category update


Immigration NZ is now processing residence applications in the non-priority queue that were lodged in May 2019. In the priority queue applications are going straight onto Immigration Officers' desks to be processed.

There will be a general slowdown in processing over the holidays but this normally picks back up around mid-January.
There are over 5,000 Expressions of Interest sitting in the pool. With no selections out of the pool since March 2020 this number will only keep growing.
