Why not become a citizen?

You have lived here for five years – at least eight months in each of those years. Your accent mightn’t be pure “Nu Zilind mate”, but your conversational English is good enough to talk with Kiwi friends and people at work.
If that sounds like you, you may be eligible to become a New Zealand citizen. Many migrants can retain citizenship in the country of birth and also become a “Kiwi”.
Why do it? Well for one, as well as pledging loyalty to the country you now call home, it means you get one of the best passports in the world, ranked globally in the Top 10 for visa free entry around the world.
